Professor Mundy is Professor of Urology and Director of the Institute of Urology in London since 1995. He has developed the field of reconstructive urology over the last 25 years and published widley on the subject.
He is a member of Council of the Royal College of surgeons of England and Honoray President of the European Association of Genito-Urinary Reconstructive Surgeons. He has been president of the British Association of Urological Surgeons and a Member of the Board of the European Association of Urology. He is Medical Director of the University College London Hospitals (UCLH).
Daniela Andrich developed her interest in reconstructive urology early in her surgical training. She then commenced her 'fellowship' training in 2004 and joined Professor Mundy in 2007 after becoming a consultant. They are both actively involved in developing and improving the care of patients with urethral strictures and with complications of prostate cancer treatments and have published their work together in numerous publications. Daniela is particularly concerned with the mechanisms of pelvic fracture urethral injury in collaboration with other departments at University College London (UCL).
Massimo Lazzeri is attending urologists at the Department of Urology of "Casa di Cura Santa Chiara" Firenze - Italy. He gained his resedency in urology at the University of Florence and his PhD at the University of Perugia - Italy. He worked as invited Professor to the Department of Urology UCSF (US). Currently he is member of the main International Societies of Urology (AUA, EAU, ICS, SIU, GURS) and he is a member of Editorial Board of European Urology, Urologia Internationalis and International Brazil Journal of Urology. He is consultant for European Urology, Journal of Urology, Urology, British Journal of Urology International and International Brazil Journal of Urology.
Margit Fisch was trained in Mainz by Rudolf Hohenfellner and developed her interest in reconstructive urology through urinary diversion. Another field she is very interested in is paediatric urology. In 2000 she moved to Hamburg to work with Friedhelm Schreiter, one of the famous reconstructive urologists in Germany. Urethral reconstruction, reconstruction of the lower urinary tract and operative correction of complications after prostate surgery have been daily work. Beside that she has built up the unit of paediatric urology. In 2001 she took over the position as Head of the Department. Since November 2008 she is the director and chair of the department of Urology and Paediatric Urology at the Universitatsklinikum Eppendorf, University of Hamburg. She is a member of several national and international societies. She was board member and secretary of the German Association of Urology (DGU) for 5 years and President of the Society of Genitourinary Reconstructve Surgeons (GURS) as well as the European Society of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons (ESGURS). She is the organizer of the International Meeting on Reconstructive Urology (IMORU).
Guido Barbagli is the Director of the Center for Reconstructive Urethral Surgery and is limited term Professor at the University of Vita Salute-San Raffaele in Milan and the University of Modena-Reggio Emilia. Guido is working as a Consultant Urologist at the General Hospital in Arrezzo. In his role as a consultant urological surgeon he gained considerable experience in the diagnosis and treatment of simple and complex urethral stricture disease and serves as a tertiary referral centre nationally and internationally. He has published widely in peer review literature and has written numerous book chapters on the subject.
